2016 marked a new era for the Group, with the launch of an ambitious CSR strategy, Better Places 2030. This strategy addresses the main challenges facing commercial real estate: moving toward a low-carbon economy, anticipating new modes of sustainable mobility and fully integrating business activities with local communities. 2017 was a year of implementation, with first results achieved on all priorities. By 2030 Unibail-Rodamco will aim to reduce its carbon footprint -50%, becoming the first listed real estate company to engage on such an ambitious strategy.
From today, every employee of the Group will participate in Better Places 2030 and every Management Board member has CSR objectives to achieve. For and with all our stakeholders, we are committed to creating better places, together.
